The Kansas Association Medical Staff Services (KAMSS) is reaching out to members of KAMSS to provide nominations of other KAMSS members for the Excellence in Service Award. This award is given to recognize a current KAMSS member (Board members are excluded), who have significantly contributed and supported KAMSS and/or NAMSS by meeting the following goals during the previous calendar year.
Goal #1: Professionalism: Medical Staff Services Professionals (MSPs) are valued members of the healthcare community. Please document how the nominee contributes to your healthcare community.
Goal #2: Advocacy: The goal of KAMSS is to support, on a national level, healthcare initiatives. Please document how the nominee is an advocate of the medical staff services profession.
Goal #3: Organizational Strength: Supports KAMSS on a local level (to include donations of time and resources) and personal knowledge to the Association, thus making it stronger. Please document how the nominee supports KAMSS and/or NAMSS.
Goal #4: Education: KAMSS provides accessible educational offerings that meet the career needs of Medical Services Professionals (MSPs). Please document how the nominee supports KAMSS and takes advantage of KAMSS educational offerings.
Goal #5: Standard Setting: KAMSS establishes industry standards in credentialing. Please document how the nominee has improved credentialing for their organization or KAMSS, and is highly effective in individually networking among peers (a resource to other KAMSS members).
